Topic: One RMs opinion on Mirror Mirror Duration

Okay.  Since Darth Pallydin and Hexxypoo the Server Administrator both seem temporarily incapacitated, here's my, as sole remaining leadership position, take on server duration.

The server was scheduled to run 14 game years in 14 RL days.

There have been, unfortunate outages, some of which were beyond the control of anybody.

Therefore, the server should run 14 game years, and whenever the in-game clock ticks to the magic year of 22xx.000, we stop playing and start getting scores.  Whatever time, IRL, this occurs, is when the server ends.  Any PvP started before this occurs is to be counted, any base that is in the process of being placed / destroyed stays in whatever condition it was at the magic tick.

Now does anybody remember what year the server started in? ???

A reading of the rules indicates 2268 was the start year.

Therefore, the server ends at 2283.000  2282 will be the last full year played.

Outside of, say, 1 DB cleaning, I don't want to read about any more server outages!!!

At the rate the server seems to be down during the day, it'll still take another week to get there...
