FRAPS + OP go or no go

Before I fiddle with it, wonder if any one knows the answer.
Comes a time when the blind man takes your hand
Says "don't you see?"
Gotta make it somehow
On the dreams you still believe
Don't give it up
You got an empty cup
Only love can fill
Only love can fill

A program used to record game play and gives a player framerates of the game he's playing. Another way to benchmark a the 3D graphics power.  Never used it with OP, since it records gameplay already, if it's set to record automatically.

FRAPS will export the frame capture in a more user friendly fashion like a movie clip.

The films from OP don't hold onto details like shipnames and vollyinfo, which sometimes makes it difficult to use them as a resource for writing battle reports.

Would FRAPS capture this information if it was displayed on the screen during gameplay?
