I just finished converting it to SFC3 for Greenv@lv's mod (basically, all it took was adding BS, TI, and VL shots and a .gf file).

And a fine job too.  Now to go test the pain.  Hehe, I found out that not only shuttles but bases are default by race slot number.  ::)

WOW very cool. To my knowledge this is the first one of my ships to wind up in SFC III. I'm sure F_W has had some of our OutaLance work converted, but I'm really stoked ya liked this lil' ship. Heck if I had known this I woulda made it sooner LOL.Please by all means post the SFC III version for D/L at Battleclinic so that everyone who plays 3 can get a chance to have the shuttle as well. BTW I just got the permissions I was seeking and my minelayer/minesweepers should start appearing next week. ;)

If you have any ships you want converted to SFC3, just email me at a_co_trumpet@msn.com
That's how I got involved the SFC modding community.  I was looking for ships to add to SFC3's pitifully poor selection, and found several ships that either had not been converted or whoever converted them did a pretty lousy job (no .gf file, no glow groups, no ship discription, no damage textures, uncapped break model, bad or no hp/dp placement, no specs...), so I started converting ships like crazy and I've even submitted some for download after asking permission (like Atrahasis's NSEA Protector and Lord Schtupp's TOS ships).

Unless she's a big shuttle, I think she'll work fine for SFC2... And heck, with some recoloring, she'd look uniquely Hydran (when compared to Thu11s Hydrans or the stock ones).  A good design, in my opinion.

Nah it's a small shuttle, and I guess someone heard what ya said about the Hydrans because I found this at Battleclinic.............

Looks very unique, though it could use a retexture.

I saw that last night and grabbed it just in case I wanted to put the Hydrans in SFC3.  My roommate loves playing the Hydrans in SFC, mainly because I could hardly ever beat them with my Klingons, which is my preferred race for SFC.

You could hardly ever beat them?!  Dude, fire your missles at long range, wave after wave will eventually kill 'em.
