lol totally outrageous at the moment. this version is mainly for rendering but I am going to make one for  game use also

I completely agree. Will you be able to reduce the poly when it's done ? IIRC someone mentioned how to do such things. I'm a texture guy so what would I know  :P

what I have planned is to make a low poly version from scratch then render the texture from this high poly version and apply it to  the new one if all goes as plan the low poly should look almost like a twin of the higher poly one at a fraction of the pc cost. I've done it with model a lot less complex and had no problems so I hopefull the process with work well with this one too.
