In an unprovoked act of aggression the Imperial Terran forces led by Darth Jinn seized control of several major Federation commercial centers known more familiarly as "shopping malls". The attack took Federation forces completly by surprise as military targets were thought to have been the early targets if hostilities broke out on the border. Luckily, no deaths were reported but several casualities have been rushed to nearby medical centers as a result of various injuries the most serious of which was the limb maiming of an Ewok adolescent by a hulking Imperial figure identified as Shopasaurus the Hut. It seams the injury occurred when the Ewok youth reached for an item in the discount bin at a discount store inside one of the complexes.
One factor was unusual about the assault in that local merchants were compensated for their merchandise, although at far below fair market value despite the apparent orders of head Imperial Darth J'inn who was issuing orders to "Steal everything, we are the government so its legal!" Then suddenly, and unexpectedly the order was countermanded by Shopasaurus Hut who yelled at the Darth "This is a SALE!, not a confiscation, its no good if you don't pay something!".
Federation forces regrouped to address the threat but not before the Terrans had slipped back across the border after Mall closing time. Federation Jedi leaders were amazed at the suddeness and execution of the raid, but noted that the buying of that much out of season and slightly marred merchandise at any price would likely have an adverse effect on the Terran Empires economy andship building programs, likely limiting the number of Dreadnaught class ships able to be put into service by the Terrans.
