first attempt, sue me. I searched through a few other Sovs I could find, and didn't find one with the texture detail I was looking for. I'm not an artist by any stretch, so I kept the original. I may retexture later, but I dunno.

A retexture is definately needed if you're going to use the stock model.  I agree with MP.  Another model is needed for the bash.  But this is a great concept.  I for one want to see how she looks when she's finished.

I do love the ship, but I get this weird feeling that this particular configuration has been done before.

Yeah the second config has been done before. It also resembles the Prometheus. As for Sovie models.....why not use Redragon's ? Personally I really like the first config better, looks very sleek. There are a few sovie varients I wouldn't mind seeing that can be found here..........

Dammit people, make up your minds.. lmao. THis is a first attempt, so sue me. If anyone can find a version of this that's been done already, lemme know. I don't wanna step on any toes. MP, you got a place I can download that version you're refering to? I'll take a look at it, who knows.

what a surprise. that's actually the one I used to make the second version. The textures are fubared on it, and I don't know what to do to fix it.

It's a matter of texture resizing. Didn't take me long at all to fix it. Only thing I couldn't fix was getting the name under the shuttlebay. But you're gonna change the name a reg anyway so no worries.

Just as a refference, what size did you make the textures?

That's kinda vague, you know how many textures are on that thing. Tell me which ones on your model aren't working right and I'll post the corrected dimensions for each.

simple answer, none of them. The saucer, the nacells, the secondary hull. the under side of the saucer. None of it. As a test, I took the saucer texture and resized it, doubled it actually, and to no effect.

BOO YAAA!!!! SHE's ALIVE! Thank you, that helped. My only question is why would he release the model if the textures were that far off? I only had one file that was the correct size. That doesn't make any sence to me.

It's cause it worked perfectly fine when he tested it in Volume II.  I asked Red to fix it and he posted it in their forums (In their FORUMS, he hasn't uploaded it to Trekmods).  F_W is working with Mani to fix the small bugs.
