Ahh you people will believe anything. Actually just had issues (uhmm actually ongoing) involving aspecst of a franchise agreement and accountants
over the past few days.
Will be sending what junk I have to DH in another couple of hours, Whenever he can get the test up
We're using the same mission pack as GW5 so I assume it will work OK <snicker>
Also- if there's no issues that are thought of I told Pesty we would try using his dll fix thing for Mirror.

Anyway still shooting for a kick off date of this weekend as I may not have a job or might even be in prison after that.
(Although Prison is doubtful, our legal system's pretty slow up here..)

It's sent, map and shiplist sent off to DH tonight.

Im still thinkinjg of asking pesty to create a folder for
Empire CA/NCL/BCH as there the only ones Ive really found.
(plus I wont have to change alot in the shiplist)

Any objections?

But if anything, it will just help keep the server up, the DLL files in the Drafting Players game is what will determine playing stability.

Send me the shiplist, and I'll fix it so that the two factions can have seperate folders for each ship that currently has a folder.  Then, the people that want, can easily use seperate models for the good and bad Feds.

DO NOT DO THIS!  it makes the installer much more complicated.   it's a fricking 2 week server.

Do you want to go live this weekend or next month?

That wasn't a very polite or useful comment on my part.  My apologies

Here is what I have in mind.  You can tell me where my plan goes off the rails:

1) Open the shiplist in excel, and drag down the model pointer column to highlight all the entries in the "Empire" list.
2) Under Edit/FindReplace, choose to "replace_al"l instances of OPPLUS with EMPIRE

Work on the shiplist is now done.  All the Fed entries still point to the Fed ships in the OPPLUS folder.  All the Empire entries now point to a duplicate model folder in a (to be created) EMPIRE folder

3) In the SFCOP folder, create a new folder named EMPIRE and put a new folder in it called models
4) Add to the installer lines which copy all the Fed folders from OPPLUS/models  folder to the new EMPIRE/models folder.

I'm not sure what software Pesty uses for his installers, but in all the intallers I've made for my servers or for Slave Girls, this would be the work of little more than an hour.  Heck, I can do that while my EVE character learns a new skill.   ;)

The change is transparent to people who don't want to mess with their models.  They will see exactly the same models for both races that they currently see for Feds.  For people who want to, however, they can make the Emprie ships look a bit different.
