Yup, buy a Mac if you're going to insist on buying a pre-built machine. PCs are much larger than Macs (except the G5's) because just anyone can build them so the architecture needs to be fairly loose so Joe PCbuilder isn't discouraged by his big hands in a tiny case. Apple builds their stuff, again, with the exception of the G5, so that you can't open the case yourself, even if you wanted to. In the case of my Mini, I'd need an honest-to-goodness putty knife to pry the cover off. And if anyone's seen the late-model iMacs, they look just as hard to open. the eMac looks easy to open, but if you know anything about the back of a CRT screen, you don't want to do that either.
