Scroll down the list, then you will see a 2 for 1 split, now let's look at COP performance.

As you can see, it's not cheap at all, but let's look at the big picture.

Ever since Jan 03 (markets kinda sucked up until then because of 9-11) this stock has just steadily gained. We are also dealing with a 75 BILLION dollar company!

P/E of 9.06 and decent dividends, though compared with other companies like FRO it sucks, the main thing about this stock is in it's appreciation.

Here's hoping the executor of my parent's estate can sell one of the 3 remaining houses located near central Austin, otherwise I will have to wait until AFTER the split and see where COP goes.

TK shipping is about to launch it's IPO of it's LNG maritime fleet, and that holds my interest more as natural gas is VERY MUCH in demand, especially with the new technology in autos coming out.

Thanks, Jack. I've got a bonus check coming in from the Army soon... might be a good place to put it. I won't be able to buy much, but the only place for what little I could afford to go would be up.

The advantages of living in the Heart of Dixie- low cost of living, peace and quiet and a conservative majority. For some reason I think that the first two items have a lot to do with the presence of the last one.
