More corruption on Wall Street
« on: April 25, 2005, 07:25:27 am »
Must be nice to be filthy rich and get in on early trading before the markets open!  >:( What about us "normal" folks?

Scary thing is, Valero is now the largest refiner (after the buyout) in the U.S. which means they can pretty much dictate gasoline prices to us! I know some will say "within reason." But what is within reason? I remember a time when oil was cheap yet gasoline kept going up, then on 60 minutes and in papers memos from refiner execs wanted more revenue, so the secretly agreed to jack up the price.  >:(

LOL...finding corruption where the money is concentrated is like flipping over a piece of rotten wood and being surprised to find termites.   ;D
