That is cool!  I hope someone makes it.  It would make a cool pirate ship.
I saw that episode and I think the Enterprise is armed with disruptors.  they made the same sound as the disruptors from SFC:OP.

Been thinking of doing this one already... it doesn't take too many modifications to what I did with the "Bubba" Class textures, and I already have the blanks for the saucer regs..

The one thing that I was wondering about this episode though was how badly borked up the Trek Continuity is now...  unless the whole DS9 Mirror Universe is just another alternate universe of the Mirror one we saw at the time of Kirk.  Which I could easily accept.

(You have Zefram Cochrane making the first warp flight and killing the first Vulcan... which wouldn't have happened unless the Mirror Universe Ent-E had come back in time to fight the Borg, who may or may not have come to Earth in the first place if the Mirror Universe Ent-D hadn't have existed to run into Q... but then Q had been shown to have been on Earth in the past, which means he'd likely have tormented JLP anyways, which could've led to the Terran Empire meeting the Borg, et al).

Personally, I look at it this way.  We've seen a Mirror Universe-type interpretation of Voyager, and mirror-Spock's predicition of the death of the Terran Empire wasn't for a while after the time of Voyager/DS9.  So I still see the Terran Empire continuing until the period of the Timeships, after which the Terran Empire'd use those to prop itself back up.  As long as the Federation exists, I see now reason why the Terran Empire'd not also exist.  The death of the Terran Empire'd also reflect the end of the Federation, and that'd not happen until it was replaced with something else, like either a Trek-Prime version of a Section 31 Terran Empire, or else some form of true Galactic Consortium.  My view on it anyways..

At any rate, I'll see what I can do towards getting something like this one together soon...

The Borg torpedo strike damaged the Phenoix in FC

The E-E crew repaired said damage

No Borg, no damage to the Phenoix, thus Chocrhane, lilly, and a lucky mystery man make the flight on scedule with no intervention from the future

It might be possible that the Empire still exists...

Theory A: An imperial fleet fled into the Gamma Quadrant by stumbling accross the wormhole, after defeating the founders the remaints of the Empire are building up an army of loyal Jam'Hadar to retake their former territory

Theory B: Why should we trust the word of the Alliance? It's possible that the Terran Navy was able to halt their advance, with this stalemate the remaints are too far and too weak to help out slaves in the Bajor sector.

Or again, Terran Empire exists, No Ent-D, no Borg, Q shows up, bugs Picard (JLP), Picard honks off Q, Q brings in Borg.  Ent-E built, Borg come back, go back in time, Borg torp damages Phoenix, start the whole thread with the Terran Empire Ent-E helping Cochrane, Cochrane makes flight, Ent-E hides, Vulcans come in, Cochrane kills Vulcan as had happened previous, Terran Empire history restores itself, Ent-E goes back.

Unless you think about how by this time, they couldn't do a Mirror Universe story because they felt they closed that road off in DS9..

Or possibly that the DS9 shown Mirror-Universe was not the one that we've seen in the past.  :)

Not going to move me on that... I still see DS9 as a Trek abomination.  But that's my personal opinion only..

I know you arnt going to like me mentioning books But william Shatters Mirror Universe is a very simple explination for the exsistance.
The mirror universe came about by a simple flip of a coin Zefram Cochrane makes to decide if he should tell the word or not,now as the coin landed it was either heads or tails, tails our universe happens and he slips back to been a drunk(later telling everyone the story and no one paying much attention), or heads he tells the world and they become agressive and capturing the vulcan lander and later the vulcan ship in orbit and starting the terran empire. Because of this simple action our universes remain close to each other which is why a simple transporter accident could reconnect them.
That and the fact Enterprise is in the past before DS9 so the mirror universe can still be used.

Shame that the book isn't canon, and that the intro contradicts that idea

well either way theres no need to make one im in the process of getting permission for the NX pack from BC files

I knew I should've put a link to it this morning rather than wait until afternoon so I could be the first to do so. ;)

NX-class Pack

Whilst I'm not too much of a fan of Enterprise, I can't help but be glued to watching "In a Mirror, Darkly" [ENT] again and again.  That's how the Mirror Universe should be done, not how DS9 did it.  I can't help but wonder what Diane Duane thought about it; After all, she's the first one to write a book on the TNG-era Mirror Universe, and she did it right!

I was never much of a fan of Shatner's explanation of how the Mirror Universe came about--I thought that 200 years wasn't nearly enough to explain the differences between the universes, particularly the savagery of the Terrans.  Diane Duane did it a lot better, going all the way back to Shakespeare...

As for this not jiving with First Contact...  without the events of the first part of FC (the Borg attacking Earth), there's no reason for the rest of FC to happen.  The Mirror Borg, presuming they even exist, would presumably have little interest in the Mirror Earth, since it's no doubt in pretty rough shape after the Klingon/Cardassian Alliance defeated the Terran Empire...  neither of those races is much inclined to leave much behindafter conquering somebody in the "real" Trek Universe, let alone the Mirror Universe...  ;)  Indeed, you could even make the argument that the Mirror Borg might not last too long against the Alliance...  Anyway, what you've got in the Mirror Universe is something analogous to the original version of Cochrane's first warp flight in the "real" universe, before the Borg came back and tampered with it.

For all we know, in the Mirror Universe, the Borg are actually peaceful, don't assimilate, and probably co-exist with fully organic species, as opposed to how they are in the normal Trek Universe.  Just thought I'd throw that out there.

Or they just never made contact with any of the Alpha Quadrant like in the novel "Dark Mirror".

Am I the only one who thinks that banana yellow was the ugliest color they could have picked to paint the Mirror NX-01 with?  Blood red would have been so much better and fitting.

Yes, but everyone and their pet targ has painted red on their starships. Red doesn't show up that great in space and it takes some tampering to get it to work with a particular ship's hull color. Yellow is at least relatively unused and distinguished - and unexpected.

If someone can obtain them for me I'd be happy to do so, it's just Ive got a lot of Uni work to do at the moment. If some else is on it disregard what Ive said lol dont have time to read through every post.. sorry  ::)

once i have them ported and released there will be no need for emailing

Actually, probably the only thing that'll be needed to be converted over will be the textures, they use p81's NX-01 as the base from what I've seen to date.. and we had that released for SFC quite a while back...
