Who saw Enterprise tonight?

Was that great? Wow! Many Coto, you're my hero. Too late to save the series, but I would have happily paid money to see tonight's episode and I will be looking to buy the 4th season DVDs just for" In a Mirror, Darkly".

A year and a half until Bermans contract expires.

A year and a half for Coto to prepare a multiseason plan for Star Trek:Imperium.

Would you watch a Trek based in the Mirror Universe and developed from this episode as a base?

A series might get tiresome. DS9 did 6 episodes I believe over 3 years and that was frequent enough. I would not want to watch people behave that way every week. I get enough of that from the 6 o'clock news. I enjoyed how they wove in "mirror, mirror" and "the tholian web" TOS episodes.  I just hope part 2 lives up to tonights' episode.

I really like the ending the best when the Tholian web went up and the ISS was in it.It was such an aw sight to hear that TOS ship the peeping souinds. That will be the greatest thing when Bermans Contract it up and Bragas is the next year or two.Bring back DC Fontana.

:o

Definitely the best episode of Enterprise ever. Best Trek in a very long time, maybe since TWoK. I'm amazed they are putting this much effort into a series they are cancelling.

The Tholian was so cool, and hot. ;D

Not sure I like the guy playing Jonathan Archer but I really like how Trek finally did some other alien race in detail that actually looked like an ALIEN, and chirped like an ALIEN, and even acted like an ALIEN.  Their living env. was ALIEN.  Not some human bipedal look-alike rip-off. OMG!! I think those Tholians really were aliens!!  Aliens that really act like aliens in a Trek show!!  What a concept!! WooHoo!!

Good Episode!
Why is it shows always get really good right before they get cancelled?!  >:(
Yeah, the Tholians were definitly cool, always wanted to see more of them ever since their brief apperance in TOS.
And those "uniforms the women wear...hmmmmm...

The episode was good conceptually and visually with a great story line, but whoooooo, that was some bad acting.  I mean, even for intentionally campy bad acting, it was bad.  Be that as it may, a pretty jaw-dropping episode overall.  While the Tholian web was awesome, I wish it had been built slower and more in line with Trek Canon, as the speed with which they were able to deploy it would make it a very powerful weapon.  However this is the Mirror Universe in which the Thols are expansionistic and imperial, which was such a nice touch, so perhaps the Mirror Thols developed their weapons more than the Thols.

I am also interested in how they are going to square Archer's desire for the advanced weaponry on the Defiant (a ship that disappeared in Trek Canon I think, nice touch), from 100 years in the future with the disruptions that the whole Enterprise series has made in Trek Canon.  I don't believe it was canon for ships of Archer's era to have phasers (phase cannons) and photon torpedos.  If they are merely more advanced versions of those weapons, that would be fine, but not as exciting, I suppose.  Also I am wondering how the characters are going to be reacting to what must seem to all of us as the campiness of TOS bridge controls, displays, and design.  Will this merely be bipassed and taken at face value, or will there be some jokes in there about the silliness of some of the look of the TOS bridge, and hell, even the clothes.

They certainly are pulling out all the stops.  It's truely unfortunate that this series will be ending.  There is so much there for them to explore.  The Vulcan cultural revolution, Early Klingon Civilization, the road to the UFP.  Argh, they are killing me here.

I really enjoyed this one. When they turned the power on the Defiant, I was speechless! Manny Coto is THE MAN. Too bad he wasn't running the show from day one!

Yeah. It would have been terrific having someone run it from day one who was willing to show it the proper respect.
