Actually (personally) I don't think there's that many rules
1) Top 3 1V1 PVP player get VP for their sides
2) No PVP kills made in a DN or BCV count towards rule #1
3) No mission in which you have a wing counts towards #1
Disengagement tagainst planets/ bases is being discussed. Throwing PMs back and forth with a few on how
it can or can not work
-Possibly considering expanding the "out of hex" time for disengagement to encourage people to smash our ships up
(say 20 minutes for destruction/60 for running)
-Working on the relative VP's of hexes/bases to make them worth about 80-90% of the VP total.
Other than the fairly simple PVP rules (if you're alone you get points, if you're not you don't) there isn't even close to as many rules
as any recent server.
Other things (updatedish)
-Carriers are out except for one or two ships (I'd like to take them all out- but I don't wnt to ruin it
if anyone's been looking forward to fed fighters)
- Mutli ship fleets are out
-droneboats & escorts are still out
- I'm (still) wavering on the year issue, lot of requests to run it in early
Problem is there's CC's/CA's/CL'sDD's and not much else.
Plus I think the later years a re abit more fun
-I've wiped the ideas of "secret VC's" as too many people have sent PMs claiming it's "too complicated" so Xships are out.
As I've asid- I rad (and consdier) each and every PM and note here. Only thing I ask though is
*please* actually make a case
"PVP Victory points cause problems, Map based VP's don't"
is a BS topic .VP's cause stress <----- this is a bad PM to send me
"You're an idiot, and you're overcomplicating this due to x y z" <---- this is a <sigh> good PM to send me
(as long as it has the x y z thing)
"My Cat's name is Mittens" <---- These are the PM's I really like
