Say you're me for a moment (ok scarry thought) Anyway, you're bored,  and ya find an old model on your HD that ya wanted to tackle for a while, so what do you do ???????

TRITON CLASS XIII HEAVY CRUISER

There's no registry and the hull light map's gonna need tweeking, only because I did this one with paint. SO add whatever name ya want. Eventually I'll come back and finish it, but for now it's GTG for SFC II/OP and SFC III . My thanks goes out to Kreeargh for the original mesh.

Enjoy !!!!!!!!!!!

Very nice, MP. I always liked Kreeargh's models. Glad to see you working with them.

My friend you need to work on the light maps for this one!

You had a great start and evened out the textures on the model to the same basic background, which was good. You made the lines on the secondary hull a little to dark, I have been doing that exact same thing in the past as well. The lighter lines actually over all look better and tend to blend a little better and makes the model look more realistic in the game. The darker colours tend to look more or less drawn for lack of a better word instead of plating on the model.

Light maps you should have made new ones to match the textures you did. If you can do the textures you can easily do the light maps, especially if you did the other textures in layers. All you have to do it contras/brighten the windows layers to white and put them on a black background, remove the other parts and instant light maps. Adding lights to the saucer I admit takes some playing to get the right look but it is also easy to do. Anyways if we are both on-line some time I can explain it farther if you need it, but I have a feeling you know what I mean here.

Great advice. Yeah I do intend to fix this all up once I get back to the states.
