No, it's already been used, but only once. I keep it sheathed like a sword so that it doesn't dull the blade unless I absolutely have to use it.

but the Feds have to fly the Klink ships and the Klinks have to fly the Fed ships.

Ever thought of doing an all Vanilla server?

Start in early era, keep the map pretty small (ala GW series).  Start everybody in destroyers.  All line ships, no variants (not even command).

Let them fly on their own side just change the weapons.  All Fed Photons become Disruptors, all Klingon Disruptors become Photons.  Replace all AMD and G-Racks with Plasma D.  Both sides get to fly their own ships but are forced to change styles.
