Hey all, now that GW5 is essentially over -even excusing Kroma's blatant last minute changing of the rules
to benefit his side yet again - (j/k -we already have a semi flame thread going- don't need another)

Is there another server getting ready "in the wings"
I can have Mirror Mirror ready to go fairly soon,-but if someone else was prepping I don't want to step on any toes.

All I need to finish up are
- Finish the shiplist (seems like it should be a farily easy excel swap, but it's not working - I assume I'll either figure
it out or wear excel down through sheer spite)
- Map -(I've done this since J'inn ran off)
- Mission pack (which will consost of me asking- What missions should I use?)
-Get Kroma to put up (and design) a fancy (manly coloured) rules page
-tell DH to make the techy/server thing work

And I'm done.

Really it seems pretty easy, not sure why more people don't do it.

So is anything else coming up soon?

I would like a new Mission pack for AOTK but I need to track down Tracey to do that. That's the biggest hurdle.

Map is mostly done. VCs J'inn is handling. We have a pretty good idea as to what will be the shiplist.

Some new missions would be killer, but I'm not sure how this can be done.

Jinn talked about trying to get it live within a couple of week, seems unlikely to me though as I believe Jeff is shooting for early May for SS3 and that there just isn't enough time to get it up test and run before SS3 is ready to go.

My guess would be late May or early June.

So I actually wasted my time crashing that shiplist together.. grrrr
And that stupid map editor..
Even worse now I'll have time to go learn how do set up the server settings myself rather than having
someone else do it..

I BETTER GET A LYRAN BCV ON ONE OF THESE SERVERS!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I don't care if it was cj or not, its a needed ship.

Working on getting a new computer in a couple weeks. I don't want to start tweaking files just to have to transfer (and then find them) on the new machine.

SS3 will probably be ready no earlier then late may or june, depending on a opening. I was hoping though that AOTK2 or SS3 would be the D2's 5th anniversary servers (just for their "standardness").

So, Hexx, I'd go ahead with something if you have it ready....

I just figured that if we really pressed, and got the word out to all the people that we can think of to have a big ole 5th anniversary bash, that it would be something more "standard". All races, lower amount of rules etc......
