Interesting read.  I knew the healthcare system was getting more money, but I didn't realize it was the bulk of what is  stagnating our economy was going there.  I wonder how much of this is due to the agin baby boomer population and their changing health needs.  If it is the baby boomers, then we are in for some real trouble when they start going into nursing homes.

It's also why many investors are worried about 2010 or so when the baby boomers take their money OUT of the market, and why some investor gurus suggest buying retail drug companies like CVS and the like, business will be booming when they retire and get on their meds.
