He hasn't been "right" in years...not on the major stuff. He failed to recognized problems with inflation in time, watched real estate prices skyrocket without commentary, and has watched a stagnating stock market...and off course has not even tried to investigate a possible reason for that...namely that if American currency is no longer stable why would others invest in American markets.
His major responsibilities have to do with the monetary supply, interest rates, and the vaklue of US currency. We have other guys who are supposed to advise on the Economy and Trade... yet he seems much more interested in making commenbts about "the free market" than doing a good job in the Federal Reserve.
