Yellow skies over beijing? Maybe that 80's group that sang "Red Skies Tonight" should tour China singing "Yellow Skies Tonight."

It amazes me how these developing nations that have some intelligent life STILL DID NOT LEARN FROM US IN THE 60's and 70's in regards to smog and pollution and why we try so hard to control it today!  ::)

Phase II of their population control program perhaps?

More likely another fine example of how totalitarian societies can put the needs of the people last or lower on the list.  Look at the environmental record of the Soviets and their East European satellites.

Or do I meander into hot and spicy land here?
