I am loving this game... but I want to find some folks to play with that I know.

Myself and Knob (you old timers may remember him) have been playing vs AI. No dealing with mouthy kids or 1337 speakers...
Been playing every night or two, drop me a pm if you are interested and we'll figure out how to link up.

I have it. Don't exactly have a lot of spare time these days, but I wouldn't mind jumping into a game with you guys sometime.

WEll, I figured that since we all use voice comms anyways... we could coordinate tons better.

You would not believe some of the stuff these guys do.....  allies I mean.

Launch an unsupported attacked against the enemy....leave their bases undefended.....

Don't tell you that they need help....

I had a battle 2 nights ago.... 3 v 3 where I held off the combined infanty of 2 enemy players and most of all 3 of their heavy metal groups.... while my allies did nothingintelligent...  I actually lasted 35 minutes in that slaughter house before I just could not keep up as both allies got themselves killed.

Sheesh.....

I've moved into "Act of War: Direct Action" played last night with 3 kids from the dorm. We're all pretty good at RTS, and we could handle Dawn of War 3v3 with AI on the hardest setting.  Act of war? 4v4 us versus 3 easy computers and 1 medium.

There are no words to describe how badly we got beaten. The game lasted just under an hour, and thats only because I held our flank (I was the bottom of an "L" shape on a map). After I collapsed, goodbye.

We thought about getting for our boy, but I know then he will study even less than he does now.  If you guys like it so much, it must be good, but it must also be addicting!

Oh, by the way, I was referring to the box, dice, and paintable figures version.

Yep, loving the game its a lot better than i thought it would be, in terms of models i used to collect a lot when i was younger, i used to go to my local Games Workshop to play alot plus had a club at school.

Had an eldar, chaos, orks, tyranids and my favourite was a very large Blood Angels collection (Chief Librarian Mephiston, Lord of Death and the death company used to kick ass!), still got all my models just havent had the money i guess to increase my collection further. I might have to start collecting again, now that there is Grey Knights available  ;D
