THE model for SFC4?

Review of Silent Hunter III

Obviously, SFC4 would be drastically different, but a lot of SH3's simulation and crew management elements would translate over very well to SFC.

After reading that review, I have one question.  How moddable is it? lol.  I want to turn that baby into a Trek sim! ;)

Looking at some of those setups screens and the crew assignment stuff, it looks incredible.  Could we ever be so lucky to get a Trek game developed to this level?

When was the last time you played a subsim that included a fully interactive 3D crew--guys who would turn to you and answer your orders? In a detailed 3D control room, bridge, and sonar shack?

Um...Bridge Commander. :P

A sub sim, Praxis, not some crappy Klingon Academy want-to-be game that's only good for renders. :p
