Korgath D6/7
« on: March 30, 2005, 04:35:07 pm »
Continuing on with the pirate theme, I retextured Wicked Zombies D7 "Klolode" for The House of Korgath. Similar color scheme to the BoP I did, but I decided to simplify the textures a bit to keep a TOS feel. Less raised areas and a more solid color to the background. I hope you all like her. 8)

This is a smaller file, so I was able to get it up at BattleClinic before it timed out on me.

Nicely doone Rod I like the way you're seperating the "House" from the Crymson Shadow.Brilliant idea.

Thanks, MP. I like to think of the Korgaths kinda like General Kang (I think that was his name :-\). Well intended (in a Klingon sort of way), but misguided. Not the dishonorable types that the Duras family are. Who's motivation is purely self serving. They feel like the Empire is growing weak and work both from within and outside the political system to stop the decay of what they feel made it so powerfull, the warrior spirit. Of course they are most driven by their hatred of the Federation and humanity.   ;)

I like the BOP but I will stick with the red D7 Wicked Zombie retextured some time ago....Not that the textures are not excellent they are but I have grown fond of my red D7...

BTW I still use the retexture of the Ravager WZ did in dark grey and black with the pirate emblem on the bottom...I love that texture job and it looks good in game and on posters.

To each his own, as the saying goes. Since I officially (and it's just in my own SFC universe) seperate The House of Korgath from The Crymson Shadow Cartel, I wanted to have The Korgath Klingon hulls look different from the pirates. I call it "plausable denyability".

I'm glad you like the BoP though.

The pen is truly mightier than the sword.  And considerably easier to write with.
