The Only reason I ever considered buying an Xbox is now coming to PC...with added content, when I heard of Fable I thought what a cool idea.  It seemed rather awesome.  After reading the reviews it seemed the only complaint people had was it's brevity.  How I longed to play FABLE and now...it appears they are making a version for the PC!

Sorry if it has popups...

It's called FABLE: The Lost Chapters, with more content, quests, and customizable features.

Microsoft spinning Fable for the PC

PC version of Molyneux's epic choose-your-adventure will get new content; Fable: The Lost Chapters will be available this fall.

Lionhead frontman Peter Molyneux and Microsoft Game Studios are doing their best Aesop impressions for PC gamers. Microsoft today announced that the popular Xbox game Fable is headed for the PC this fall, under the name Fable: The Lost Chapters. The much-hyped game was released on Microsoft's console last September and was developed by Big Blue Box, which is owned by Black & White developer Lionhead Studios.

This is the real reason why I never got an Xbox, all the cool games if I wait long enough come out for the PC...sometimes with additional content.  I suppose it's a a game of patience...I don't get to play the original when it's released, but eventually, if I wait long enough, if it's worthwhile enough, it will come out for PC!!!

Fun Game, Alien likes it because she can play as a BI. LOL!
The PC version will be worth it.  Let's hope they have a reasonable amount of down loadable content (teh only reason why I like the PC Morrowind over the X-box version).

I hope it's good, the only complaints was how short it was, but I like short RPGs, it means maybe I can finish them within a week instead of having to spend a month sloughing through them!  It sounds really good, and I like the idea that I can be good...or evil.

I played through it on the XBOX, and after finishing it felt a little empty.
It's too short, there's not enough variety in weapons and armour, can't customise your character to any great extent. Despite the graphics and audio, it ultimately ends up as a bog-standard RPG on the PC.

However.......if the is a LOT of new content and they signal that it can be modded (like morrowind) then I may re-invest in the game.
God said to the Welsh: 'I am going to give you this glorious land of lakes and mountains.' So where's the catch, asked the Welsh? 'Wait until you see the neighbours,' replied God.
