That is pretty funny.

And it works well too ...

I have been following the stories and comments surrounding Khalee1, and frankly, I'm appalled. Why does the media consistently refuse to acknowledge that I am interested in facts, not in paregoric for Khalee1's lieutenants? What follows is a set of observations I have made about vitriolic wheeler-dealers.

He is completely scornful. We all are, to some extent, but Khalee1 sets the curve. Trumpeted so many times, his mottos have begun to feed on themselves, to generate their own publicity, to cow their opponents not by argument but by sheer repetition, and to marginalize and eventually even outlaw responsible critics of sexist, merciless bribe-seekers. He, perhaps more than anyone, should take seriously the challenge to compile readers' remarks and suggestions and use them to establish clear, justifiable definitions of extremism and ethnocentrism, so that you can defend a decision to take action when his sycophants herald the death of intelligent discourse on college campuses. Do I blame society for this? No, I blame Khalee1.

He wouldn't know a new idea if it hit him over the head. Now take that to the next level: If I didn't sincerely believe that he chooses to ignore the fact that it scares the bejeezus out of me to know that he might excoriate attempts to bring questions of Bonapartism into the (essentially apolitical) realm of pedagogy in language and writing before the year is over, then I wouldn't be writing this letter. Throughout history, there has been a clash between those who wish to build an inclusive, nondiscriminatory movement for social and political change and those who wish to interfere with my efforts to rouse people's indignation at Khalee1. Naturally, Khalee1 belongs to the latter category. His self-fulfilling prophecies are complete drivel, and everyone with half a brain understands that. Some day, I want to clarify and correct some of the inaccuracies present in Khalee1's smear tactics. But you don't have to wait for that. What you can do now is talk to everyone you know about the things I've told you in this letter. Use every medium available to you. Use the Internet. Use your telephone. Use radio and newspapers. And whatever you do, never be afraid to speak out against the evil that is Khalee1.
