I posted this in the Galaxy EVO thread, but thought I'd get better results if I made a dedicated thread. First off, here's the situation again.
I successfully got the Galaxy EVO working in SFC3. In 3DS Max 5, I hardpointed the model and damage pointed it as well. The damage points seem to be working nicely, and the specs, as far as I can tell, are working beautifully for the ship. She's got 17 phasers, all type 11F, and 8 Quantum Torpedoes.
In the refit screen, everything shows up, everything is refittable, and all the arcs for each weapons point shows up when you click the Arc View button at the refit screen. When a mission loads though, the very last hardpoint, number 25, doesn't show up in mission. It doesn't show up in the UI for the ship in mission. Doesn't show, doesn't fire, like it doesn't exist.
I've double checked, triple checked the model itself and the hardpoints, and everything is in order, I've double checked and triple checked the specs I wrote up for her, and went over the ship in the SFC3 Hardpoint Placement Editor at least 50 times, and still, in game, the damn thing doesn't want to show. It shows in the refit screen, and I know its active, but in mission, it's just gone. I can't figure it out.
I'm honestly thinking of taking out a couple hardpoints of the ship, reducing the total weapons loadout to a total of 23 weapons overall, or just deleting that last torpedo hardpoint and having only 4 forward firing torps and 3 aft firing.
I really want to get this 25th hardpoint working properly, so if anyone knows what's going on, I'd really appreciate it if they let me know. I know it can't be the fact that I have 17 phasers on it, cause I've hardpointed ships with more than 11 phasers before, all with 100% success.
Any idea?
