I'm back down in Brum this week and will be unable to keep track of what's going on, or work on completing the rest of this ISC line... the Frigate, Shuttle and Freighter should be next - I need to think a bit more about the bases and stations though...

FW, check your burgeoning inbox... you should have all six new meshes in 3ds format to play with now...

It is awesome to see someone tackling a new race for once! Tired of the same rehash of the Fed/Kling/Rom models. These are looking great and can't wait to use them!

Is that a "weapons rollbar" on the CV?

For some reason, that just doesn't feel right. Being most of the ships are pontoon / oblongs with an organic design sort-of resembling a reversed manta ray of sorts, the sudden "attachment" of a box on a "rollbar" doesn't seem to fit.

I wonder what it would look like if you were to make the "box" into the same oblong lozenge shape of the main pontoons and turned it into the primary fighter hanger...

Otherwise, the meshes are beautiful, just waiting to see them textured...

There are a number of people who have been working on models for more obscure and minor races - I'd suggest you take a browse through Outalance for a taste of some of Azel's work (and when he gets round to modelling his ISC designs, they'll be pretty spectacular!)... There's also Red-Green's impressive Hydran fleet, if it's still available..?

The carrier has a rollbar, yes, and the main hangar bay entrances lie just below it - the roll bar is sort of like a cowl... I'll consider modifying the 'pod' after I get back home though.

As for the texturing, I'm dying to see the results myself, but I know the guys looking after that side are pretty busy at the moment.
