Does this work as well for Firefox as it does for IE?
« on: March 07, 2005, 01:21:26 am »
Need a bit of feedback here. I want to hear form all of you using either IE or Firefox. I've tried to throw in some stuff that Firefox has had trouble with in the past but may no longer. There is only one way to be sure and that is with you guys.

Anyway guys and gals, this stuff is in its very early stages of testing and should not take but less than a minute to do. Thanks all.

Let me know what you think.

*grumbles about opening IE to compare his firefox results*  ;)

Well the pages to do the same in both browsers with one exception that i can see:

In IE the line "You have selected, XXXXXX"  and the drop down box  is highlighted with a color when a race is picked. This isn't the case with firefox(I'm running v1.01).

Both look the same to me in both browsers.

Colour change works in both browsers too.

Man that shows that IE is rendering the visual of the site WAY better than Firefox.. glad I never DL'd Firefox.

Windows XP Home Edition with SP2( used the larger SP that Pestalence pointed out rather than the windows update version).

Grim,

The DropDownList background color does not change for you either using IE or are you saying you got the same result as Monty repectively?

Once in a while I run across an eCommerce site that Firefox craps out on during the checkout.  It's rare, but it happened again last evening.  I keep IE installed as a back-up.
