I agree with Tus ...

they do seem a bit out of sync with the rest of the model ..

The rest is very good ..  I especially like the primary hull .. ..  very nice ...  very clean !

Fascinating.  It looks as if the nacelles are related to the Sovereign yet designed by Enterprise era engineers.  That’s pretty cool.  What era does this fit into anyways?  It looks to me as if it could fit into any of them.

Woah woah woah, hold the phone.  Did I hear right?  You may or may not finish this?  You'd better be joking.  You mesh a beauty ship, give us WIP shots, and you might just let her gather dust?  WHERE'S THAT RUBBER CHICKEN?!?!?!?!??!!?!

The new nacelles are beautiful, but I have to agree with the pylons.  The pylon concept is great, but the nacelles are attached too close to the bussards.  That is just my opinion though.  Now, if the pylons were sloped back a bit.  :-D

What role will she serve in the fleet?  And I forgot about what MP said about what era this can fit into.  With that concept in mind, the pylons would actually work the way they are.  :-D  Maybe a predecessor of the Ambassador class, or perhaps a distant cousin?

Hey, MarkyD, I've got a great idea for this ship.  Not sure if you remember about a year ago a thread I started about retexturing a ship to be the President's ship.  Alot of debate went over about which one would be better suited for such a role, a Galaxy or Sovereign.  Anyway, would it be possible to give this new baby of yours a special set of clothes and make her the UFP President's ship, in addition to giving her standard duty clothes.

It hit me that if this could go into the Lost Era, that maybe this ship class could have been used at one time for such a purpose.

I'm just throwing ideas out here for you to read.  In the end, I'll be very happy with how she turns out.

I was thinking early TNG a nice transitional ship between the Excelsior and Ambassador classes. Perhaps a FAST CRUISER or Perimeter action ship. Actually, the early TNG era could use a good Border Patrol ship. Ok how bout this ?

In service : 2300
Out of service 2350
Class : Medium ship
