And don't fall for his poor me, I'm a rusty pilot crap either.  He knows what he is doing.

NPR is a lot like NASCAR.  Two hundred miles an hour in a circle, and you end up right back where you started with nothing but lost time for the effort.

The 9th is a good fleet, with a lot of good people.  I'm proud to have been a member with them, and even though I'm not officially part of the fleet anymore, I consider them still to be good people and good friends.

Reprisal, a name some of you may remember, was one of the people who recruited me into USFC back in 2000, and helped me hone my skills.  At first on my ladder matches I had a win % below fifty percent.  I kept on playing though, and finally some of the tricks sunk in.  I was a good pilot, but I don't think I'd qualify as one of the best.

I'm having some trouble taking care of grandma right now, but I'll get back on the server as soon as I can.  :)

Having served in all 3 main Fed fleets, I'll vouch for the 9th's ability to crank out first-rate pilots. Some people may hate him, but Nanner knows how to train. ;)

Well, I was referring to currently existing Fed fleets. As the 9th appears to be making a bit of a comeback on D2, which is great, that leaves them, the FPF, and the ragtag 1AF(aka the Peanut Gallery).  :woot:

BTW: Hooch was actually the first to offer me a fleet membership in the SSCF, but he never answered my return e-mail. So when Nanner offered, I joined the 9th instead.

PS Best Fed pilot I ever saw: Ghis, followed by John Vaughn. Best current Fed has to be either DH or Jeff.
