How-to Question: multi-object mesh into a single object

I've been searching for a tut on converting a multi-object mesh into a single object.

can anyone push me in the right direction ........... Thanks

can you be a bit more specific...i mean, it sounds like all you need to do is use the Attach tool (if you are using 3d Max)

pick one mesh, go into the modifier tab and click attach all.  select all the objects that you want as one mesh, and click ok.  simple as that

exporting it to .mod format also makes it one peice.
