Okay, so, ive been running Max6 for about 2 years, never had a problem, well, nothing too bad...2 months ago i upgrade to XP, things work fine...2 weeks ago, i install VRay Advanced..works fine...4 days ago, it craps out on me, no reason...The Reactor plugins (which are native to 3d Max 6) error out...i install DirectX9c...works once or twice, then craps out. I upgrade my video drivers, works once or twice, then craps out...I move the Reactor Plugins out of my plugins directory, works fine, except it crashes when i zoom...I have installed it, uninstalled it, reinstalled it...with VRAY, without VRAY, without the Architectural material archives, and it still does the same thing....any ideas?

Max out your motherboard's memory capacity.  Put as much RAM as that baby can take.  Make sure your heatsink fan is working perfectly, and maybe reapply some more thermal gel.  Never used Max6 or 7.  Just have Max 5.  Only other advice, pray.
The pen is truly mightier than the sword.  And considerably easier to write with.
