Topic: SFC1 & 2 scripts for OP

I have SFC 1, 2 EAW and OP and love them all.  But I mostly play OP due to it being the latest with the mostest.  It's really great to see people who have the time and skill to make these scripts and I'd like to thank you since I have neither the time nor the skill, but I do love to play.

I have the OP+ mod which is great for incorporating all the new things into OP as well as improved missions and EAW missions.  I'm guessing that this has been asked before but I didn't find the answer on a quick search but I was wondering if anyone has made some of the SFC1 missions available to OP (or if it is even possible).  I'm talking about missions like "Limping Home", "Pirates!" (which would be fitting for OP IMHO), as well as the technical/training missions.  Yeah, I have been playing SFC since SFC1 came out, but I'm starving for different or varied missions.  As far as I can tell, nobody has ported over any of the training missions from SFC1 or 2 to OP, or am I not looking in the right place?  Also, is there a complete list of missions available for OP somewhere which includes training, single player skirmish and campaign, and multiplayer skirmish and campaign?

A good suggestion. As far as I know Pestalence has endeavoured to gather all the OP missions currently being used for the D2 and included them in his OP Enhancement pack. Largely this entails missions By Dave Wessels and Karnak. There's a few very old ones that I wrote in there but they are obsolete. Some excellent Skirmish missions have been written as well by various people, including a good rendition of the Wrath of the Khan written by Centauri Vaghn, I'm not sure if this in the OP Enhancement pack though. Firesoul ported the EAW bonus missions over to OP. As far as I know, no one has ported any SFC1 missions to OP yet, but this can certainly be done. I have also seen several other missions written by various people scattered across the net at one time or another by authors not so well known here, mostly for single player.

A centralised repository for mission scripts is an excellent idea.

I loved the ones where the pirates would make fun of you during the battle and usually when you were getting your but handed to you it seems. the same guy made the infamous cheat mission where you got 500 PP if you did it the right (erm; wrong) way...

 Im no scripter but from what i have seen the missions from sfc1 can be ported over to op  but my understanding is that it would actualy be easier to write new ones. There are a heck of alot of missions out there with more beeing added all the time. Unfortunatly alot of them are scattered to the winds. Ill look to see what i have stored away on disc but i think what your gonna find here in the dl section is what is in pestys thingy with the exception of traceys missions which werent out at the time.

I thought Dynaverse had a central dowload area for scripts? No?

If no directory is the case I'm sure it is an oversight.

the most used ones are here there are others like the ones from the pf and fighter mod and more that i cant even think of right now. They are for older patched versions of the game but might still work.

I have collected all the SFC I and SFC II and OP scripts that I have been able to find on the net. I asked Mr.Cue to create a folder in the community Docks area for them. But he was reluctant at the time. I know we have a permission thread for models and I think one for scripts would be advised that way I can upload eveything I have and all the scriptors can as well into one place.
