Azel's Reman Dreadnought - WIP
« on: February 15, 2005, 04:43:05 pm »
Been offline for sometime and was/am still having trouble with 3d max on my system but I got enough time to put this together. I found a design on my system and from the amount of detail on it I am pretty sure it's Azel's. Bit of a problem is I only have the above view of the thing and therfor no idea about depth or underneath details. If anyone has other views or knows where to get them please let me know.

Only 4000 polies give or take 100 so I can make a few additions. I am only posting an above view for now, If you want more I'll post tomorrow. oh and it's untextured  :P

Also, Anyone got a Name, did Azel name this?

also I will add the original design, please note this is Azel's sketch.

Reminds me of a bird-bat hybrid or something like that.  Something Batman would have if he had the resources to build a starship.  Interesting design nonetheless.

That has got to be one of the sweetest Reman Ships Ever!  I can’t wait to add this one to the game.  Azel, awesome design as usual!  Hey wrathofachilles, ever think about making a Scimitar?

fotopic, which is what I use, is superior. More space and bandwidth. Direct linking is slightly less, but not that big a deal and it's free. Plus it's ftp upload and email upload and browser upload even cell phone upload. Basicly ya got more toyz.

Photobucket still works fine for me.  I never had trouble with it because it's easy to use, and I don't display overly-big pictures.  However, I will consider it, so thanks.

Thanks, I used a sub site of photobucket that you dont need to sign up for. It seems to work fine.

I'll get the textures done soon.

Also isn't there already and SFC scimitar?

SWEET!!! ;D

BTW, you don't need a place to host images if you just want to post pics...attach them to your post with "Additional Options". ;)

ummm, as far as I know Azel's other Reman stuff is pre-Tos and already done by the man himself. I have some nice Rom's I'm considering but, and Azel will back me up here, I'm kind of useless when it comes to dedicating to particular models.... just my way.

As for a release. Texture with lightmaps will be done in maybe a week or two, Someone will have to convert if they want it though, I have never done SFC convertions.

which version, as if you have 4.0 or 5.0 you can export easily (but you will need to detatch your smoothing groups to the mesh...) just use the plugin, i tink its in the dled section
