Well have received a couple of PMs suggesting alternatives to a draft to make sure the Mirror server
has kinda identical sides.

As they all seem like work, and I don't like work thought I'd ask anyone interested in playing Fed vs Fed
if they want to be a good Fed or a Bad Fed.
Remeber shiplist and map are the same for both sides.

Not asking for leaders or demanding that anyone keep to what they say here, just want to know if all of you are planning
on being evil Feds.

Good guy Kirk: Gets to travel all across the galaxy, find all the beautiful alien babes, and try to seduce them.

Bad guy Kirk: No seduction necesary. Find the most attractive woman in starfleet (at the moment) and orders her to live in his quarters.

Wow, this is going to be a hard choice. Yeah, some of the women good-guy Kirk seduced turned out to be psycho, but then I'm betting bad-guy Kirk still got some chances to grab alien babes regardless of the beauty livng in his quarters.

I'm leaning bad-guy Kirk.

BTW anyone know how to do those super secret VP password protected thingys (the unhackable ones, not the easy for you computer guys to read ones)
I have plans involving super secret VC's and they would prove most...useful.

Step 1 Get DH to help and to host the thing (check)
Step 2 Find easy shiplist as DH says he won't have anything to do with it (check)
Step 3 Map (check)
Step 4. Get J'inn involved as "creative consultant"
Step 5 Realize J'inn loathes me, announce him as "creative consultant" anyway
Step 6 Read J'inns feel-good post about co operation and love on the D2.
Announce J'inn as "rule modeartor" on Mirrior server (J'inn! New Job for you!)
Step 7 Show, what old timers refer to as "my pimp hand" by slapping down someone who seeks to question me
Step 8 Get Kroma to fly for the bad Feds
Step 9 get Dizzy involved somehow, with Dizzy J'inn and DH lined up to take any blame, sit back and start the server
Step 10 Kill Feds.

See here's the Problem

In the "Mirror Universe" You describe there are also no Hydrans, ISC, Lyrans, Wyn etc. They never fought a General War.
SFC is not SFC , but it's also not Star Trek.
One of Start Treks's Mirror Universe's had Terran Empire.
Mine has bad Feds.

Thats easy Bear, just put an identical shiplist in the 2 other race slots and you got identical allies

The Terran Empire might have some of the "lesser" races weaponry... but no allies...

Well you could keep the Orion ships in as the occassional variety

Maybe even throw in a couple of new monsters as well. I could see, for example, "The Riverboat Casino" Monster.....

Actually a variety of other races ships could be thrown in as monsters...just a thought.

Instead of "allies" the Terran Empire could have the same races but call them "subject races". There does that help to loosen your sphincter.

No other races ships will appear.
Lots and lots of Fed ships going boom.

Fed PF's will not be in
F111's might be, have to go back and find the stats DH did up for them

There will be fighters
There *may* be F111's
There will not be PF's (so there won't be all the mechlinked ships)
There *will* be CCXs -maybe. You will need to do something fancy to get one.
and I'm hoping they can be made rare build sin the yard.
There will not be the plethora of light and casual carriers that the Fed list has now.
There will be no allied races ships.
All "allies' will be using the Fed shiplist
I'm aiming to have a server where the bulk of pilots are in CB's or CLCs.
(or something equivalnt, those are just the 2 best imho)
The only limited ships will be BCH's CVD's and DNs.

Since I have gone from dialup to my Sprint/Earthlink DSL connection, I am unable to gain access to the directory server.

I get the firewall error. I have updated the stuff about the won servers BOTH times, and was connecting perfectly, if very slowly with dialup on GW3 and Litterbox. Got DSL during GW4 and have been unable to connect since.

Im using the sprint supplied dsl modem and a linksys wireless B router. I now have moved and will be using sprint/earthlink but with an updated linksys wireless G with speedbooster router. Sprint is jerking me around (as usual with them) and the modem that shoulda been here last thursday will hopefully be here tomorrow or wed. at the latest... in theory.

Once that happens, if I am able to get some help, perhaps via teamspeak or the telephone (Ive got sprintpcs, I would be happy to call ya anywhere in the main 48 so there is no longdistance charge) to try to fix this. I love Eve, but I am JONESING for some SFC whoop-ass!

I have that same router, I only know of one Linksys makes. I use cable broadband with it though, but would be more then happy to help you configure it to play on the D2. My MSN name/email is under my avatar for when you get everything you need to set it up...
