Changes at Demon Renegade Studios
« on: February 10, 2005, 06:08:21 pm »
For those of you who haven't already noticed, DRS has been moved to a brand new server. Big thanks go to Starforce and Chris Jones for helping in the relocation and the web space.

Also, since DRS has somewhat of a new beginning, I've tampered around with my own forum. This is by no means meant to compete with Dyanverse, SFC3.net or anywhere else (if that were even possible). This is simply a quiet corner for discussions about the ship releases, design choices, the end of the world, whatever. Some of the less critical and not-so-original ships and retextures will be posted there. There's also a help and suggestions section for anyone having problems regarding the ships and installation.

Sweet, looks great!  Now I might be able to download the Mnemosyne Class this time.  Great ship by the way  ;D

Of course it's a new URL - I sure wouldn't be using a link to an old site. The new site link is in my sig, and the old site has a redirect to the new one.

I'm glad you've found a new home. I have lost count of the number of times nightsoft has been down. Also glad the renders are smaller jpg too! lol. Btw I just want to ask... have you ever considered making a rendition of the would be Ambassador class designed by Andrew Probert? http://www.ex-astris-scientia.org/articles/excelsior/probert-sizechart.jpg theres a good side view there. You seem to excel at taking concepts and building them with your own style. Would be good to see what you'd make of it :)

I've asked Andrew Probert if he ever did a schematic of her...he didn't :( But she's a nice ship indeed, definetly on my todo list

Link updated and added to favorites.

I will not miss finding Nightsoft off line when you announce a new model. I'm still thankful for the webspace being made available to the community but it has been rather hit and miss. It needed to be done.
