Installing Sound Files Into OP

How do I do this without losing audio alltogether?

well you just install the audio, if you mean like the sound fx or the background music, i only install the fx sound and its ok, for the background music well i don't know unless it was the same i have not see any diferance (beside ben anoying)  ;D

You have to use zero compression when you do the sfcsounds/music/voices.zip file. That's usually where people mess up. Winzip has the option for setting zero compression. The standard windows zip utility can't be used.

Speaking of adding sounds, didn't someone once ask how to add Star Trek 2: TWOK music to SFC2 and OP once?  I would love to add that kind of music to my copy of OP.

I've added "sounds" that others have made to the game. I've never created anything from scratch or transposed anything from another format myself. As long as you stick to the format and specs for the original wav files though, and insert them into the correct zip with zero compression they should work.

You could just replace stock files (keeping the new ones the same name) with whatever you'd like.

Here's the properties for ABS.wav as an example. Match any new music files that you make to these and you should be good to go.
