the windows on the sides of the saucer , for example, look too stretched along with the snakeskin texture least in comparison to the top ... but who am i to complain ,you wont take notes anyways :p
still, i have to wonder how wankfull it'll look like with a decent bump map and reflections in nexus

aye,...that's what I was going for

For the Anticans(the other race...weasel-dog-like ones) I had talk with Fleet-Captain_Frost...and he gave me a good idea that their ships would be smaller classes
and they would act like a pack...I don't know how tis could be accomplished in game(seeing that their capiltal ships would be no larger than a CL hull)...but it a good idea, none the less

Yes, a "WOLF PACK" mentality I agree with that concept completely.
One larger ship IE maybe a destroyer as the "ALPHA " ship and a bunch of FF's

There is definately a mathematical formula going on with your models, I see it now.... totally abstract, but there.

Aye I will...if you are reffering to the PreTOS ones...I found an interesting problem with them in that there ships
are rather unique in their genericness...lol

Very Nice..... The white circles need somthing though.... the dont look quite right.... they look flat...

Small update....
I think that I will combine the 2 races (Selay and Antican) for one race slot
the Selay would have the large cruisers (CA-BB) and the Anticans can have the smaller cruiser slots(FF-CL)
as it would fit for their cruisers since I was going to give the Anticans all small ship classes anyway...so this
way, it works out well (despite the fact that the two races want to kill eachother...lol)
Also, I will have just one DL for the for the entire combined-fleet
Anyway...I just finished the Selay SCS/BB
I hope to have some pics to post soon

Oh, what a dope! I kept glancing through here, thinking those loading images were just someone's replies to the original posts by Azel.. you know, repeats and such...

Those Anticans are great! Funny thing I noticed in SFC3, actually very funny, is that you can set a race in a campaign to dislike itself!! I did that with the Pirates, just messing around- that would fit Azel's mooshing of two opposing races....
those Pirates would engage in missions against each other, as well as together... got a few good laughs; I'd engage a Pirate, but when the mission began, there'd sometimes be a second Pirate in the opposite corner- Id go ahead and charge weapons and shields, but just sit there, maybe even back up a little.. sure enough, they start duking it out!
Point being, I can't wait to get these ships so I can try that again... lol

Wow...so SFC3 does have some redeeming aspecs ...lol

So it forces me to be fast and think of alot of designs that would fit a texture
