Rom Fighter WIP UPDATE 13/02/05

ROFL.. 1 day until I go on my Army Promotion Course, should be studying..... but im modelling..... doh  :police: "Your nicked son!!"  :D

Anyway, I just wanted some input on this fighter / shuttle im working on... Gonna hand it over to FV for his mod when its done....

Just need some input on making the mesh more rommy looking... ?

Who would have thought that making a rommy fighter would be such a pain in ZE BUTT  :D

not bad. Looks more like a normal shuttle than a fighter though.

Yeah it's awesome but it looks like a pod as is. Add a set of delta wings to her and see how that looks

It doesnt need delta wings... It needs a superstructure that will accomodate a Plasma F and Plasma D torpedo launchers. That doesnt fit the bill. Maybe put a Ph3 on it and use it as a general shuttle, but it is no fighter.

What you have there, folks is the snazziest looking general fighter/shuttle I have ever seen! Sharp, nice, and well done!

you could always try giving it wings like a mini d'deridex look, but there would be gunpods where the nacelles are on the larger ship. The one in ds9 had the arched wings with nacelles on the end..and it was about the szie of a runabout.

I like this, Even idf you add wings later, be sure to keep this version for a shuttle. :)  Good luck with your Army stuff.

Thanks guys, Im thinking about making two alternatives, make a shuttle, and then add some wings and heavy weapons points and make a fighter...

Small update, not getting mutch time at present, about to get even less next week... i.e none  :(

I got back off my course today.... 1 and a half weeks done 5 weeks to go..... I should be studying charecateristics of the General Purpose Machine gun, The Grenade and 94mm Light Anti Tank Weapon, as well as bulling my boots..... but Nah....... One day off..... why not continue my model.... I dont want to be getting rusty......  :D

Anyway.... Still working on her.... I am really going to add some detail on this little birdy and since it is a fighter im trying to keep it to one texture sheet.... its a pain in the butt....

Anyway... hope you are all well.... I apologise for not responding too all your posts about ships and stuff.... I'll do my best to catch up.....  ;)

Time is of the escence  >:(
