Certification review
« on: January 24, 2005, 12:11:28 pm »
Some of you already know about my adventure to get my MCAD certification in MS C#.Net. I started with earnest at the beginning of this year and hope to complete all 3 exams by the end of this year. I finshed working through the first chapter of the 70-315 exam text this past week and though a few of you might like to get an idea of what's what in this cert. Here is a list of 10 of the review questions. There are more exercises, but these give a broad overview of what is covered in the first book, first chapter of this 1129 page tome.

1.   Describe the difference between a public field and a public property.
2.   What is the purpose of organizing classes in namespaces?
3.   Does Visual C#.Net support multiple inheritance?
4.   What are the benefits of deriving from the Page Class?
5.   What can you achieve with the Page directive?
6.   What is the usual signature of an event handler?
7.   What are the steps involved in publishing an event?
8.   What are the steps to be performed in order to handle and event?
9.   How does ASP.NET allow you to separate user interface from the business logic?
10.   What are the advantages of precompiling the code-behind class?
