EEK mission Feedback. Questions about pulling the missions.
« on: January 23, 2005, 01:00:41 am »
I have heard peeps complaining that they are too hard. This may be in small part because crappy ships are showing up as allies in missions. Ill get them pulled next day or so, i just got the list too late from the rm's to do it last night.

Keep in mind they are the only AI strip missions we have. If they are tanked, then a lot of ED PvP will have AI in them with you.

I can pull the missions mid server. So let me know.

Leave the Patrol but pull the dockyard and convoy raid ones. That dock yard on your own is not easy so I can't vote but this my thought on the matter.

Well, I really belive the missions, the Dockyard raid in particuler, will be manageble once the "crap" ships are out of the list, which Dizzy says, will be done. It is due to the fact that the list of ships to be pulled wasn't submitted in time before the server start with all the other things going on.
Best way to handle them for now is to make sure you have a wing.
Jinn and I were able to take the Dockyards in less than 10 min consistantly last night.
And Jinn can do it OK....well, you know... :P

1)    No good deed goes unpunished.   I was nice and didn't T-Bomb Krueg.   Thus I get this.   :cuss:

2)    They are not too hard for moi.   But I'm Lyran,  so that skews things.    ;)

Haven't had much difficulty with missions, just takes longer with junk AI allies...now If I'd just get drafted for PvPs within the same hex...

We are holding off on the eek at the moment and may insert them via patch at a later date. There are some issues at present which required their removal. Sorry. The final installer is being uploaded now. I'll post when it is available. Make sure you use the SGO4 provided uninstaller b4 you run the new one.
