Mr. Cue's PM secrets revealed...
« on: January 20, 2005, 12:00:55 pm »
Well, just PM'ed Mr. Cue, and, as most of you know, I take computer illiteracy to a new level.  Asking me to repair/work on a computer is much akin to asking Helen Keller to direct traffic during rush hour.  A VERY bad idea.
Anyway, here, in his own poetic words are his directions for PM's and pop-ups alerting you:

Profile --> Personal Message Options --> [] Show a popup when you receive new messages?

Its a per-user option so the user needs to turn it on.

NPR is a lot like NASCAR.  Two hundred miles an hour in a circle, and you end up right back where you started with nothing but lost time for the effort.

This may not work for those who have Pop-ups blocked. But don't dispair, you can always look to the left of the Dynaverse.net page and see this display:

The information next to your avatar should let you know if you have any new PMs unread.

Or just have the board e-mail you and then you can see it when you check your e-mail.
