OK, I know I should be able to figure this out on my own.  Well, I can't.  So humor me.

For tonights build, which takes place in 2273, which integer game year is the *biggest* that I can order?

I'm stuck at work with nothing but a shiplsit, and I can't remember whether the year counter array really starts at 0 or if it starts at 1, nor am I positive which calendar date is for year 1.

Can I build ships up to year 10?
Can I build ships up to year 11?
Can I build ships up to year 12?

I'm pretty confident I can't build ships with an FYA of 13.

-S'Cipio of the abacus.

Unless Dizzy changd the rules, up to Year 11

Year 73 includes all the build for that year and 74. So the base year is 2263 + that 'integer' abacus method S'cipio uses, hehe.

So S'cipio, that means 2263+ 11 = 2274. The builds on 2275 are another build cycle.

So build now in 2273 any ship you can afford from 2263-2274. So yes, It's 11.

1- The F-CS Prometheus was a prototype. Only 1 was made. .. and 4AMDs? .. you mean 2, right? Yes, it should be restricted.

-- Luc

LOL Uhmm Im thinking this ship may get restricted on most servers.
Although being able to do 31 holding 4 Photons and 1 ecm with 8Ph1's and 2 Drone racks, and of course effectively 2AMD
in 66 might not concern people as much as I think it will.

The F-CS should be considered a specialty ship like a fast cruiser.

It would be nice to see at least 1 or 2 feds in another boat than this if they arnt flying a special or capital ship. :P

Whine me a river, this isn't better than anyone's command cruiser with D2 Loadouts.   Meet me on GSA and I'll proove it to you.

Only 3 KRC were ever built, should that be Restricted to?

Regarding the F-CS+:

If a F-CC+ would show up in the ship yards... I would buy the damn thing.

The NCL+ doesn't have the moxie to take on a I-CAY.

The extra hull of the CS+ means you can take a few more chances to inflict damage on the enemy without being crippled.

Ask Nemo.  2 passes and my NCL+ was a wreck and heading for the border.

Unfortunately, the shipyard is full of stuff CS+'s, NCL+'s, and specialty ships.

Lots of crying about a halfway decent ship. Funny how LDR ships were available to one side for SS2, but restricted when they were ours for GW2....  :point:

Don't worry, Father.

They are just mad that the 'vastly superior' ISC ships are getting wasted.

Better to blame the ship than pilot skill.

(oh?  Did I say that? ;D)

I know, but it just irks me that "God forbid!" the Feds could have a decent ship on a server now and then. CR from AOTK was a halfway house between the CC+ and CB. Banned.

BCT and BCT+ from assorted test servers. Too good. Banned as "destabilising to the D2 community".

Assorted NCL hulls from Nanner and Jeff have all been banned for the same reason, without ever even testing them. And they're complaining about a CS+?

I have to agree with  "them" on that point, those ships were unbalancing.

BTW...have we reached a firm decision on the number of DNs and BBs?
Do we need an "official" vote from the RMs?

CVS to Mr BoJangles.  He shall fly the CV he currently has until the CVS comes out, and he procures one.

At that time, he intends to stardock the CV...
