To all the jobs search people
« on: January 14, 2005, 08:12:20 am »
I used to know about websites and national reports that showed the hottest degrees and job opportunities. Unfortunately I do not remember them. Does anyone know where I can look up the average salary for a Bachelors of Business Administration with years of middle management and labor negotiations skills?

Also, what is the average time required to complete a Master's degree? I'm thinking of putting Virginia into the Univ. of Texas Master of Business Admin program if she can get accepted.

Thanks people,

Jack

I have to pass on the first one. As for the second one, I'd asy that a normal time would be about 2 years, depending on their prior degrees and the particular school. Since she already has a business degree, she might get out of a few of the 500 level classes. Maybe.

I did my MBA in 4 quarters. That was only possible because I just finished my undergrad business degree and was able to skip all the 500 level classes. It was still a very busy, hard year. 4 grad level classes at a time and working 30+ hours/week didn't leave much time for anything else. Fun though.
Only in America .....do we use the word 'politics' to describe the process so well: 'Poli' in Latin meaning 'many' and 'tics' meaning 'bloodsucking creatures'.

Thanks J, you made my day. I have seen some very high salaries in a paper I receive, Financial Times. You just opened my eyes as to the opportunities out there. I wish I had been a good boy in school.  ;D
