I have a sneaking suspition that they are all limited production ships but I figured I'd ask.

I'm told things like the Romulans will revolt if anyone even mentions restricting the KCR (The C7 thingy). So, what ships do you guys play?

Not just Roms but other races to. So what is everyone planning on flying?

I like the smaller ships myself Derstroyers TO war Cruisers including NCA's.

It's an odd thing. I enjoy the specialty ships, but handle the line ships fairly well, sometimes better than the special ones...

ISC: Love the CCZ. Ticked that it's considered the ISC's BCH, and that I don't get to fly it often (either way too expensive or restricted). Spend most of my time in an I-CAx or CMx, though I enjoyed my stint in a CVA when they were classified "BCHs" one server.

Feds: Fell in love with the NAE, Something like 4 Gats, 4 drones and a couple of Photons with a 4-pack of Ph-1s means she's a monster in close, but does have a little ranged firepower to stand off and snipe with. Can handle a CB about as well as Kroma, tend to prefer ships with Photons over drones (though if it's like the DDG or NAE with at least 2 photons, I can live with the drone racks.)

Klinks: After using them under the ISC interface for GW3 training, I found myself shocked that I was able to fly them as well as I did, being colorblind and unable to use their regular interface for sustained periods. I prefer the stouter hulls and larger weapon suites of the D7 line (specially D7C/L or D7W) over the D5 line, though I know that I need more Klink practice (even in those D5s) to consider frequent flight of the C7. The 270 degree Dizzy arcs and stronger drone throws of the D5 / C7 still confuse me sometimes...

The rest of the races, I haven't flown extensively enough to develop any sort of a preference, although I know from the servers where I flew Hydran so long ago (4-powers) that I prefer Hydran Hellbore ships, and I can't get the knack of flying a Lyran at all, even when I try to fly one as a saber-dancing Klink. The only race I haven't tried on a server is Gorn...

D7C, C7, rarely C8VK ( D5D for flipping hexes but it gets old real fast)
One server had a "D7WK" which was great

KRC, KRCS, though I tried a FHK/RHK

ISC - CLY, CCZ, maybe CVA.

I try to get CB's, when Kroma isn't online.

Usually the Fed CLC, NCF, NCC. My favorites are the BCF, CFS+ and DNH.

Lyran: DW/CW series, BC's when the server gets loaded with heavy iron.
Rommie: the klink hulls for the d torps, though if I was fighting ISC/Gorn I'd go for the Rommie hulls. Light/heavy cruisers.

Good, we're alone. OK, I'll spill, but don't tell the Bruce Lords of Ghdar or else things could get ugly. My all time favorite ship is the R-KE. The ultimate (non-x) incarnation of the classic TOS lean-and-mean ship. Of course, I don't get to fly it on the D2 much anymore.

Looking to the Gorn, my favorite ships are:

HDD
CDD
CM
DNH

The DNH is only for when I need to hunt down some ugly muck trouble-maker. The others I interchange between frequently.

Normally due to limitted playing time and restrinctions I am limitted in my choice. The G-CDD is a thing of beauty... while I can't recall the last time I got to use it the G-BCH is probably my favorite... although I have always enjoyed the DNL as well...

A favorite in pvp is any ship that can fire two F torps directly backwards

End up flying might be different from a list of favorites, but here goes:

Fed: FFG, FFB, NCL(+), CLC, CC(+), CB, BCF/J, CFS+(kind of cheesy, probably a taldren ship but I do love photons), DNL, DNH.

I usually will pick a turning radius over a larger hull, DNs are nice but not always my thing. Real favorites would be F-BCE(flawed, I see it as a different mindset that's all) F-BCJ and the whatever incarnation of the CAs during an era. I really prefer energy based line cruisers over anything else, carriers and magazine-fed heavy weapons are good for strong openings (kinda like chess) but I find in the ending stages of a battle those aren't as important... just have to keep alive long enough to get to that point

Klingon: D5/D7 series; D7T. Generally smaller over larger again really. For some reason I really get into playing Klingon roleplay wise too.

Hydran: WAR, OS, PAL (surprise right?)... been really a while but I put in some time on fusions and hellbores.. oddly I usually ignore the fighters.

Hrm, guess I'll think more on this.

Klink: I'll fly pretty much anything in the D5 and D7 series

Hydran: COM, LB, LM, CHA, CHC, and the OL and OS? the BCHs

Romulan: Any of the hawk hulls, I don't really like the kestral variants

Lyran: I'll fly anything

Gorn: Ditto

ISC: I'm not very partial to ISC

Kzin: I really enjoy flying the CC and CCH

Generally the ranger or dragoon is quite good, but the lack of warp power is annoying before Y170.
