What Instant Messageing Software Do You Prefer?
« on: January 28, 2005, 09:48:57 pm »
In the vein of what browser, OS, etc. I figured I would ask what IM software is your favourite. I am using Trillian Pro 3. It is great. I can connect to all most any IM service on the planet. The Pro version even has a plugin sytem that lets people add more IM services and other cool stuff, if you want them.
Only in America .....do we use the word 'politics' to describe the process so well: 'Poli' in Latin meaning 'many' and 'tics' meaning 'bloodsucking creatures'.

open source baby!!!!

check out GAIM at http://sourceforge.net/projects/gaim/

a little tweaking and it works great...the only thing i do not like is that the away messages stay on the start bar.

Trillian Pro3.  Great program. Love it.

The only complaint is that you can't see in color or hyperlinks in people's profiles. Just B&W text.
