Topic: Newbe with some questions

Greetings all new to Dynaverse.net and well its been atleast 2 years since I played EAW/OP. Im looking to join the upcomming SG4 Dyna but am still getting use to this forum and where what info is. I know I need 2.5.5.2 and firesouls 3.4 ship list ( BTW is there anther link to down load the 3.4 list ? I keep getting a timed out  message when I try to Down load it off this link  http://www.klingon.stasis.ca/  )

My other question is do we have to sign up for SG4 as in what race we intend to play ect ? I've been finding bits and pices of information and see some races have been joined for this Dyna like the Hydran and Mirak, are both races still playable ? with them being combined dose this mean we can sign up for one and fly either ?  Sorry been a long time since I was on a dyna and have never been on a SG dyna befor so im trying to take in all the new to me rules you all use but figured I better start with these basics. Any info would be appreciated

If you are having problems uploading 3.4, it is mirrored in several places. I'll try and post those links if someone doesnt beat me to it. As an alternative, consider this thread: http://www.dynaverse.net/forum/index.php/topic,163350529.0.html Pestalence uses 3.4 in his enhancement pack. It should be called an add on, cuz thats what it is. It has a HUGE amount of material for OP from all sorts of corners of the universe. Doesnt mess with stock stuff, just installs 3.4, and adds all sorts of cool campaigns, missions, and stuff.

Quick answers to your questions: THIS forum, the Dyna 2 Experiences, is where we all meet collectively and discuss everything from the latest server stuff to the size of Kroma's G-string. So all the action, or lack thereof is here. There are 3 sides on SG4. GFL has a special invite to the ISC, but you are all free to play whatever side you want. On the side you choose, you may fly any race that side offers using multiple race accounts, but may not switch sides.

Currently there are 3x forum threads where advanced planning and such is being conducted. You dont have to choose a side yet and there is no signup. Ck out this addy for where advanced planning forums are: http://www.bozobits.com/forums

So basically, we use this forum, and the other for strategic planning. I'll try and find those other links. Hopefully someone will beat me to it.

Oh, and the test server will go up in mb a few days... I'll keep everyone up to speed on any downloads that we will have available when the time comes, as well as the website which will be up shortly.

Here is the link to our "strategic" forums:  http://bozobits.com/forums/  Just go ahead and register, and request access to the particular forum(s) you need access to.  There is a "guide" on how to do this posted in the General forum there.  Most of the moderators check their respective forums often, especially leading up to a campaign, such as we are now for SG4.

Oh, and Dizzy was kinda wrong about one thing; there are "signup" threads, although their more like "state you intent" threads, really.
