This past year has been one of many changes both at work and home ... and here with what has become my favorite part of the SFC Community. Though there have been some accomplishments I have taken a look back to review, and learn what we need to do better. The old addage that those who fail to learn from history are doomed to repeat it is an accurate trueism. (One of which I hope gain wisdom from).
With that in mind I have set a few personal goals in hope of being better at making a more affective contribution to the community.
1. Completion of all open and incomplete projects:
A. Titan (version #1)
B. ADD and AAC
C. Final refit of the X-CLC (if someone wants to help with this one before Nanner releases his final copy of the GAW .. that would be super cool)
2. Learn more about Texturing .... re-texture at least two "major" SFC ships and submitt for approval.
3. Acquire at least one (perhaps 2) kit bashing programs and generate at least two major "bashes" complete with textures.
4. Acquire 3-D program and complimentary program to convert data to useful MOD files for SFC.
5. Build at least 1 complete ship from scratch and complete with textures.
This looks good on paper. Quite frankly I have no idea how far we will be able to get with this lofty goal. But, as I've said before:
"If ya aim at nothing ... you will hit it everytime!"
I want to thank everyone for the support that has been shown with my some what crude sketches ( that have been improving slightly) ... and want to say thanks for those of you who have seen fit to build models stemming form from those ideas.
I am really looking forward to the comming year, it promisses to be one of the best !
thanks
