Klingo D5(?) From Enterprise?
« on: December 01, 2004, 09:20:51 am »
Hey all, just saw an episode of Enterprise where they had the Augments, and I *think*
they called the Klingon ship ib the second part a D5.
Has anyone done a model (or is anyone planning on it? I guess it's kinda recent, although i ahven't seen that many Ent episodes)

the larger klingon battlecruiser has been made, it is in the unity  mod, but it's low res (256) version. Darkdrone would probably have the higher res textures.

What larger battlecruiser?  The Raptor is the only thing I'm aware of existing, and that is a scout...

If someone really wanted a quick-fix version of the D5, a few alterations done to the Raptor (readjusting the wings and so forth) would make for a something somewhat comparable to it...

I'd do it myself, however, all I have is Milkshape and the Raptor has more poly-ies than Milkshape can digest so I cannot access it.

One detail note from The Augments....If you slow down the sequence where Archer uses the grappler to disable the D5, you will notice that the wings are shaped exactly linke the D7...how is that for all you continuity folks out there?

Which only makes sense, but isn't as blatantly obvious as the bird of prey...

Not enough to make up for the Jem'Hadar warp nacelle at the end of the wing...  ;)
