four-nacelled Excelsior did anyone make one?
« on: December 22, 2004, 01:23:50 pm »
Did any one make the 4 eng version?
http://www.ex-astris-scientia.org/articles/wolf359-other.htm   has some pics etc, on his page.

Looks as if it would have to be a new model, does not look as if you could kit bash any of them.

Atrahasis made another one of the 4 narcelled varients but it's not on his site. Could someone post it for D/L ? And there's a 2 narcelled varient of the study model posted at Battleclinic. It's called the Renaisance class. And then of course there's the one Manitoba and F_W made that will be featured in OutaLances WOLF 359 MOD. Which also features the afore mentioned one MarkyD will do.

my Diem represents the Final-Excelsior version of the 4-Nacelled Concept...if that makes sense...its not an exact make of the Concept

The one in bridge commander is made by Kevo, unfortuneatly he dissapeared before a supposed version 2 was released. Rumor had it he was going to update the olympic and streamrunner as well. We're talking 2 years or better so I'd assume we'll never hear from him again. However, dreamyards has a rare ship project going on and this one is on their list as well. Some of them (not the one you want) are posted here just to give u an idea as to the quality if you're interested:

He'll not respond due to SPAM Killer software he had installed on his PC. I am a member of his forums. His policies are related to one rule: nothing to deal with Dynaverse. You can use his models but they shouldn't be hosted by a Dyna's webspace  :) He understands many things but not Dynaverse (as he had called it "hands of evil"). BTW It would be a proper way of action to ask him when you'll want to modify textures or mesh. If you want to include this model in some sort of MOD for SFC do not use a Dyna's Webspace to host it :)

That would be all about his policies...

I suggest you send that ship to DarkDrone and ask him for hosting it :) This will do no harm and everybody will be able to download it :)

Ahh bummer about kevo, was reading some of the posts that people had posted about his ships. i can see why he stopped making ships for it. I was just going to use his for my own use anyway, so a place to host it would not be a probelm then, other then on my compter.

As for Atra's model i got a email back from him today about his, he does not like his old work to be used, was a old sfc 1 model not up to par with his new stuff. i can respect his wishs on that.

Took a look over a mackies site did not see the 4 eng version, what name was it under?

Thanks all for the help.
