OutaLance vote for Forum
« on: December 18, 2004, 02:53:52 pm »
Ok heres the deal with so many people and projects going on within the OutaLance and the goal of the company in Real Life which is to raise awareness of diffrent kinds of boarder line autisum (very hard to spot and people can go though their whole lives without knowing) and depression which doesnt get enough attention as it doesnt count as a mental condidtion even though its a chemical inbalence in the brain.
Anyway if we get a server there will be areas for mods, group work, seprate and individual works, talking about projects, radom thoughts, adult related stuff, (not for the reserved) a way of recruiting new members, an autistic section where autistic people can come together and discuss problems, ways of dealing with thier disabilty and situations. same goes with the depression.

So if all OutaLance and affiliated people (basicaly everyone who wants to comment) this poll will be open for 4 days from the time of posting if anyone has any questions dont hesitate to ask
All that remains are ashes caused by neglect and self loathing

Honestly, id rather stay here, reason being we don't need yet another factor to help divide the community.

You should check out Atras setup thru his site, he has a cool little forum running.

If you decide to have a forum, then the participants should add a link there to your sigs, that will keep it tied in here.

I agree, let's stay here. Everyone for the most part is here and we are after all about unity and working together.

perhaps I could create a private forum on my forum for outalance team members only. You could stay here for your regular business but use my forum to communicate with the team. I honestly hate email/IM tag and like forum formats for that purpose myself.

Ok fine we have a forum at our site. But THIS is where the community is and I for one don't wish to go anywhere. We asked for a sticky for our own thread and got it. What more do we need ? Sandman had a good idea as well if need be just start a child board. The key here is commUNITY. This really shouldn't have even come up.  Let's focus on what's really important. making the ships, bashing the ships, importing the ships, converting the ships, texturing the ships,HP and DP the ships and MOST importantly playing with and enjoying the ships  :soap:
Ok that's my $.02 ,any one got change ?

IMO  Outalance members will stay active here no matter what.  I just think it would be simpler to have a forum( even if it's a child forum here) that was pretty much only for outalance projects. Again, just my opinion.
